Meet Richard Maize

Richard Maize is a Los Angeles based real estate investor, entrepreneur, and philanthropist with more than 30 years of experience in real estate and finance. He built a portfolio of nearly 1,000 rental apartment units before he turned 30, co-founded a successful LA food truck (Richeeze Melts), among many other ventures.

Richard Maize is a Los Angeles based real estate investor, entrepreneur, and philanthropist with more than three decades of experience in real estate and finance. Before he turned 30, he had already built a portfolio of nearly 1,000 rental apartment units. 

Since then, Richard has diversified into private equity, venture capital, and media commentary, investing across fintech, consumer products, entertainment, and early stage startups. He is a partner at WebPR, a Los Angeles based online PR firm, and an investor in Richeeze Melts, a food truck he calls one of his favorite passion projects.

Alongside his business career, Richard co leads the Rochelle and Richard Maize Foundation with his wife, Rochelle Maize. Through the Foundation, the couple funds cultural and arts programs, health initiatives, environmental stewardship, and education and mentoring for young people, with regular support for organizations including the American Cancer Society, the Los Angeles Police Foundation, Vista Del Mar Child and Family Services, Children's Hospital Los Angeles, and Cedars Sinai. Their philanthropic work has also helped fund Hurricane Katrina rebuilding efforts and ongoing support for people experiencing homelessness in Southern California.
